Adam Page, born Stephen Blake Woltz on July 27, 1991, in Halifax, Virginia, is an acclaimed American professional wrestler best known by his ring name "Hangman" Adam Page. He rose to prominence in the world of wrestling through his dynamic performances and charismatic persona. After graduating from Virginia Tech with a degree in communications and working as a high school teacher for several years, Page pursued wrestling full-time. Page began his career on the independent circuit before signing with Ring of Honor (ROH) in 2011. There he developed his skills and gained recognition as part of the villainous stable Bullet Club. His tenure with ROH saw him win the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship alongside The Young Bucks. In early 2019, Adam Page became one of the founding members of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), quickly establishing himself as a main-event talent. He competed for—and later won—the AEW World Tag Team Championship with Kenny Omega at AEW Revolution in February 2020. Their reign was widely praised for its storytelling and match quality. Page’s crowning achievement came at AEW Full Gear on November 13, 2021, when he defeated Kenny Omega to become AEW World Champion—a title he held for nearly six months while defending against top contenders like Bryan Danielson and Lance Archer. Known for blending athleticism with compelling character work—often portraying an anxious yet determined cowboy—Page has become one of modern wrestling’s most beloved figures.
